Barnacle Bills is located in the picturesque seaside town of Kaikoura in the South Island of New Zealand. We provide accommodation which is ideal for travellers, families and groups. We can also provide fishing, diving and pleasure trips. We have fantastic views of the Mountains and the sea and are only 2km from the Town centre.
Annual Events to look out for in Kaikoura Kaikoura Seafest – First Saturday of October. An enteertaining festival showcasing the varied seafood available from the region and the many varied ways it can be served. This is an Annual Event and is very popular. Horse Racing – End of Oct/start of Nov. AN exciting day for those who enjoy horse racing and a flutter. A & P Show – End of Feb. Agricultural show involving everything to do with farming and some that are not. Horse Riding competitions, wood chopping, farm animal competitions, dog shows, farm equipment and carnival rides are just a few of things you can see at the show. Market Days – Third Saturday of every month and long weekends as well in the primary school yard. A popular morning for visitors and locals. 10am - 1pm. Stock Cars – Queens Birthday Weekend in June. A well patronised weekend for enthusiasts from around New Zealand.
